Wilderness On Wheels.
Founded in 1986, this foundation is constructing a wheelchair accessible boardwalk (over 1 mile long at this time) up a mountain 50 miles west of Denver off Highway 285 near Kenosha Pass, Colorado. The foundation relies on volunteers for labor in constructing and maintaining the facility, and on donations for operating expenses and construction materials. Contact: Roger West, 303-403-1110.
