You tri it Triathlons are your invitation to experience Off-Road Triathlon at its best near the Denver Metro Area.
The 5th Annual Buffalo Creek Triathlons will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008. This beautiful venue nestled in Pike National Forest utilizes the Castle Mountain Resort and the infamous Buffalo Creek Recreation Area.
The Buffalo Creek Triathlons provide off-road competition for all ages and abilities, and will again offer the XTERRA Buffalo Creek Triathlon, the Buffalo Creek Short Course Off-Road Triathlon, the Buffalo Creek Scramble Trail Run, and the Buffalo Creek Youth Off-Road Triathlon.
Continued this year: The BC/CB Double! XTERRA Crested Butte Bank Trails Triathlon (www.cbbanktri.com) and XTERRA Buffalo Creek have teamed up to create the BC/CB Double. Prizes will be awarded at the Crested Butte Awards Ceremony to the top male and female finisher who has the fastest combined times for the 2 races.
New this year!!! The Colorado Triple X (Colorado XXX) where XTERRA Buffalo Creek, XTERRA Crested Butte, and XTERRA Indian Peaks award prizes for the fastest combined times for all 3 races. Prizes will be awarded at the Indian Peaks Awards Ceremony on August 2, 2008.
